On November 8, 2011, Judge Sheldon H. Weisberg will be honored at a lunch given by the bench and bar in Mohave County. Judge Weisberg, a long –time resident of Kingman, was in private practice and government service in Kingman until his appointment to the Arizona Court of Appeals in 1992. Judge Weisberg served as Kingman City Attorney and as a Mohave County superior court judge pro tem before beginning his service as an appellate judge. While on the court, Judge Weisberg’s decisions were thoughtful, well-balanced and timely, and his exceptional leadership as Chief Judge for three years was greatly appreciated, particularly during some challenging economic times.
