Superior Court Enforcement

ATTORNEYS filing into Maricopa County Superior Court

The grace period for not filing electronically will end September 1st.

The Arizona Supreme Court has directed that courts will transition to digital documents in an effort to increase efficiency, lower costs and make documents easily available online. Per Supreme Court Administrative Orders 2010-117 and 2011-10, lawyers filing civil subsequent filings into the Superior Court in Maricopa County were to begin electronic filing by May 1, 2011.

The Arizona Supreme Court has directed the Clerk of the Superior Court NOT to accept post-initiating case documents submitted on paper (via file counter, mail, depository boxes or other) unless an exception applies as defined in Administrative Order 2010-117 or 2011-10.

If an exception is granted by order of the court, a copy of the order must accompany the paper documents at the time of filing the documents with the Clerk or the documents may be returned or discarded by the Clerk.
